Well, this is when friendster might become useful. Lots of my single friends do the nerve personals as well. BTW, I look forward to seeing you again sometime, but I'm going to be in orals exile for jan and feb. I will come out of exile briefly for my bday on the 31st, so I'll be sure to tell you and the gang about it.
Yeah, funny that you should mention that ... Brian from Flushing just sent me a message that we should "hang out." Go, Friendster! Go, synchronicity!
As for orals exile ... sharing your pain, completely and totally. Mine was lessened slightly, however, by finding your poem, "Spent." This is, quite possibly, the funniest thing ever:
Glad you liked 'spent.' I did it in a fit of procrastination a while ago now. Speaking of which, I'll have to take some of that skein stuff down when classes start - I wouldn't want students googling me and seeing my, er, attempts.

RUDY:
Where's the action, pyrotechnics?
No one here's at all eccentric.
Fall asleep in every class -
Only learning to kiss ass.
Heading for a deep depression
This is nothing like Possession!
So, kudos!
