Electric Bugaloo - Quitting Smoking, Too

Going off of the logic that I can't possibly be the only person out there who is, a) trying to quit smoking, and b) curious about nifty electronic gadgets, I am so blogging this in pain-staking detail.
The "Mini-Cigarette," as it is called, is neither miniature nor a cigarette: the latter is a huge selling point, the former is kind of a puzzle. I mean, the express purpose of this thing is to get people off the cigarettes by basically tricking them into thinking they're still smoking and not being deprived of anything, so, cool, but ... mini? The little metal cylinder is about the length of a 100 (one of the long cigarettes, for those of you smart enough to have avoided this noxious habit), with maybe one and a half times the diameter: not big enough to be jarring, but definitely not a mini-anything. The starter kit comes with two MC's, two cartridges in the high, medium, and low strengths, and one bonus cartridge already hooked up to an MC: being that I never got over the habit of putting whatever I found into my mouth, I eschewed the instruction manual in favor of just immediately taking a puff of of the MC with the cartridge: mmm, apple-flavored!
The instruction manual is kind of hilarious: it is written in well-intentioned, completely incomprehensible, obviously run through AltaVista BabelFish English. It is full of sentences like:
"The nicotine content per atomized cartridge is less than that of 20 ordinary cigarettes, and the state of discontinuous liquid supply specially designed prevents smokers from smoking continuously by this device, thus, reducing the use frequency and protecting the smokers health."
I love the "thus." Also, WHAT?
So, as of now, I'm off the cigarettes, and onto the MCs, assuming they work: will periodically update to let y'all know if they're working, if I feel like tearing someone's head off as I do when I try to go cold turkey, etc. Lemme know if you have any questions!
