The human body is a nifty little machine, but there are days when I wish it came with an operating manual.

Going to sleep at three and giving myself the unprecedented luxury of 7 hours of sleep, why did I wake up at 8:00 on the dot?  And, going back to sleep, why did I then wake up at 9:00 in with the certainty that my body was done?  I'm still wiped out, but some little widget somewhere was just firmly convinced that that was that, time to get up!  Argh.

Yeah, I'm glad I don't work for tech support. "You did what with your digestion unit?!?"

Maybe still getting used to sleeping without the Gnu around? I don't even live with P, but I still manage to have insomnia during this long stretch because I can't sleep by him.

That part's actually not so bad (I love my darling, but OH GOD THE SNORING - the heaviest irony here lives in the fact that, now that he's gone? The CAT has started to snore. Truly, Murphy laughs) - I'm thinking I just have a f'd up body clock.
