Oh, dear. Yet another day of not nearly enough work getting done.

Completely random: *what* is *with* all of the car commercials where the cars attract so much attention that the driver is basically stampeded by the brain-washed masses? It's like advertising via George Romero. "A car so beautiful ... the undead will hunger to eat *its* brains too!"

Will now be staying up till midnight to finish the WisCon CFP. Bah.

Will also be getting up at four to finish my orals reading quota. Double bah.

On a non-bah note: Wednesday, KGB, Scott Westerfield and Lucius Shepherd. Wednesday will *rock.* Who's coming with me?

ETA: Managed to send off the CFP *and* write a review *and* answer copious e-mail ... which basically means that I'm up to date on all but the write-ups. Four ack emma, here I come!

I think nihilistic_kid is also reading. I'm kinda torn. Cuz Blaise K is reading as part of this reading, Psychos I've worked for Or Dated . I may have more in common with the latter than the former.

There's a decent chance I'll be there, but it depends on how horribly rude it would be to sneak out of KGB early enough to get to the Ministry/My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult show on time. Or if the opening band at the latter looks fore-goable, I might be able to manage both with no problem.
