Oh, Hedwig.

Also, we still don't know what's up with Aberforth and the goats.

Also, I kinda have to wonder what's with the strange Lewis-esque/humanitarian cop-out of an ending.

Also, we, uh, bought a house.
Moving on ....

Also, did I miss something about Petunia's "promise". Because I can't seem to figure out the revelation. She was a wizard who ignored her powers??

No ... at least, I don't think so. A Muggle who apparently *wanted* to be a wizard? With the promise applying only within book 6, to keeping Harry? Bah. Stupid continuity, says JKR ....

I was convinced that Ariana was top-secretly Mrs. Figg; Dumbledore had exported her or some such.

She sure did run rough and ragging with the slicing and killing though, eh? Goodness, gracious.

Ah, now that would have been fun ... instead, we get Rose and Hugo.

Rose? Hugo? Am I missing something about who they might be named for here?

Eva Whitley [Chalker] suggested "Hugo" was a shout-out to JKR's 2001 trophy; I doubted it, considering the convention awarding it couldn't even get her \publisher/'s attention and had to have it received by a fannish children's librarian.
