A friend of mine made an off-hand comment tonight that I must feel as though I'm in the final throes of labor: at 200+ pages and roughly 2 lbs, I think that the more applicable metaphor might be "having a litter of kittens." After all, I've still got two more weeks to fuss and agonize and nip at the silly thing.
Nevertheless: right now? I feel goooood.
