Question for the Londoners ...

A friend of mine has a chance to do research in the UK, via a prestigious scholarship ... which, unfortunately, does not provide housing, nor give suggestions on affordable locations.  I know that some of you have been posting sporadically about needing cat or dog-sitters ... would any of you happen to need them for the last week of July/first week of August?  I can testify that this lady is one of the most responsible people I know, and you're all aware of how neurotic I can be about my verminous little cat.  Alternately, would you know of any affordable B&B's in London or Stratford-upon-Avon?

No, but if she is clean, doesn't smoke and understands how to work in a segregated kitchen, I'll offer accomodation in return for a flat $100 towards groceries. (Two weeks is a bit long for pure house guest generosity).
