Dec. 29th, 2009 10:04 pmIf my f-list has a theme right now, it might be titled "SUCK IT, 2009." Seriously, the last time I saw people hate so hard en masse, the Bush administration was front and center. We never did put them first against the wall when the revolution came, but we nevertheless saw their tail end (tale end?) ... so, 2009, good riddance, and fare well.
Wanna vent about 2009? Mi comments thread es su comments thread. Wanna talk about what you want out of 2010? Ditto.
Me? I'm hoping that I can be less angry in 2010. The other day I split my knuckles for the first time since my mid-twenties and I felt like a damned ass for it, but, hey, it got me through the night. In 2010, I look forward to developing more mature coping mechanisms.
More lightheartedly, I look forward to looking to cook Chinese. Also, to learning to belly-dance, returning to silver-smithing, playing more pool, and making new friends to replace the ones I lost along the way. Possibly curbing my abuse of puns, parentheses, and punctuation (and possibly, developing it to yet greater heights). What, aside from losingweightsavingmoneycuringcancerbringingpeaceinourtime, is on your list?
