Animal bookends!
Dec. 27th, 2009 05:12 pmHaving just gotten home from a traditional Swedish Christmas, allow me, first, to wish you a belatedly happy holiday, second, to inform you that the big stupid friendly family dog celebrated the occasion by eating my glasses, and third, to tell you that Sylvie-the-Cat is a hero of the revolution: upon my return, I found that the cat had gotten me a present - half a mousie!
Well, a little more than half. Apparently, the tail was the only bit she wanted for herself, and as the sort of girl who always eats the brandy-flavored ones out of the boxes of chocolate, I can sort of understand where she is coming from.
That said, Christmas, man. It is all about the conspicuous consumption, as demonstrated by our animal companions. Hope yours were more glasses-friendly and less verminous!
