Jun. 2nd, 2008 09:50 pmAhahahahahaha. Those of who who've been reading for a long time may remember The Summer of the Giant Insect, when I posted about finding, and killing, respectively, a waterbug who outweighed my cat, a preying mantis (who, to be fair, I did not kill, but only because he had the good sense to stay out on the windowsill), and Mothra.
Enter, Son of Mothra.
You know, this was even less fun in a room with a 20 ft. tall ceiling. After a day full of migraine and commuting. Before dinner.
On the upside, I made the 'Gnu crack the hell up when it flew into my workbench tray and I attempted to smash it with my rawhide mallet.
But, hey! Finally found a use for that '87 edition of the Norton Anthology of Poetry. (The mallet was even less effective than you might imagine.)
I'm going to go eat something now, I think.
