Hey Helen! I found you through [livejournal.com profile] erzebet. I hope you don't mind my adding you.

It was lovely hanging out with ya the past several days!

Mind? *Mind*? Not in the slightest ....

And, lovely indeed. Looking out at NY's bleak and unforgiving March weather, I find myself feeling quite nostalgic ....

I'd like to hop on this mad circle of friending as well, if you don't mind. I of course found you nearly simultaniously from Darja, Bryn, and Mike's el-jays. News travels fast here in Bloomington.

At least you have that ever classy picture frame to help you fondly remember the warmer climate.

But of course!

And, yeah. I'll treasure it fondly for years to come. I only regret that no one thought to take a really, really tacky picture by the pool which I could use it to house ....

[identity profile] ninja-turbo.livejournal.com 2006-03-21 05:27 am (UTC)(link)
You could pick up the ICFA issue of Locus and grab the big poolside pic from Saturday that they'll undoubtedly include. Of course, its tackiness is currently Schrodinger to you, me, and everyone but the photographer. *shrug*

[identity profile] d-aulnoy.livejournal.com 2006-03-21 07:11 am (UTC)(link)
Best. Idea. Ever.

Also, I like Schrodinger as an adjectival phrase.

The circle of friending continues.

I found you through you finding [livejournal.com profile] swan_tower through [Bad username or site: pythia_akyrpta who found you through <lj user=erzebet @ livejournal.com] (I think that beats out FoF). The intarweb is a strange and marvelous place.

Hope you don't mind the add. Though if you do, I'll just take it as impetus to weave it into an overblown ICFA/internet legend, which we can laugh come next year.

Cheers,
Michael

Hmmmmmmmmmm ... now, while on the one hand, it's enormously tempting to become a legend in my own mind - er, I mean, *time* - on the other hand, I think that I'd probably prefer the intelligent discourse. Perhaps we could just *fake* a big fight and leave it at that?

Oooo, possibly rivalry over the Grand Prize of the dinner tchotchke?

[identity profile] ninja-turbo.livejournal.com 2006-03-21 03:57 am (UTC)(link)
While the fake fight sounds tremendously amusing, it would necessitate deletion of the previous comments, which seems entirely too much effort.

Though, for the tchotchke...nah. Intelligent discourse it is.
