I am a total convert to reading on my phone. I sit on subways and airplanes, happily clicking away the pages to "The Nightlife of the Gods" (Thorne Smith) and "Pride and Prejudice" and "The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of her Own Making." Of course, I need a magazine or something to read on the airplane while the electronic device ban is operative, but life is like that.

The Nook? Why should I bother?
