Oh--I've read Elegance and her second (?) book--Innocence--or maybe the other way around. In any case, I came across Innocence at some backpacker place while doing fieldwork, randomly. I enjoyed it but there was something kind of weird about it? But The Debutante sounds really good, I just bought it for my Kindle after reading this.
