I give up.

I'm positive I've asked this before, but searching my journal gives me no love, so ....

I'm thinking of a short story.  I'm pretty sure it's from a Datlow/Windling anthology.  It's about a world in which women turn into (were)wolves when it's That Time of the Month, and thus, role-reversal takes on a whole new meaning as suddenly men needs must be cautious of their partner's greater physical strength and commensurate capacity for abuse.

Dear LJ-Genie: Any thoughts?

ETA: Never mind, found it - Bruce Glascco's "Taking Loup."  Take THAT, disorganization!  In other news, both Surlalune and the LJArchive thingy need better search functions.  And me?  I need a better memory ....

In other news, I highly recommend the story ....
