You know, my cat does this thing. Best way to describe it is to put words in her carnivorous little mouth: as she races me down the stairs, or into the kitchen, or wherever, I envision her thinking, "I'm terribly sorry, but I must beat you there."
She's a cat. She has a brain the size of a walnut.
