Cool. Anything up this week? There's the prospective student thing on thursday, and I'm seeing laura's play on friday. So, uh, maybe something sometime that's not then?

Dude, I just got back ... my idea of "up this week" is unpacking. Will probably also be going to the prospective student thing, so will see you there. Cannot type in complete sentences, as am exhausted, and still have papers to grade and Conrad to read. Bleh.

Thanks - it was fun, but the end result is that I *still* feel like I need a vacation. You just can't win ...

Oh, P.S. - how was your thing?

Hehehe. No chance you can just lock your door for two or three days?

Umm, which one? Been a busy week... I can give you a call later if you want.

None whatsoever ... and, trust me, feeling like I do, I desperately wish that I could cancel classes tomorrow and just hide under the bed. Not just under the *covers* ... under the BED.

You had a conference that you went to as well, no? But the other things are of interest as well ... tonight I have to be responsible and grade a truckload of papers, but talk tomorrow, perhaps?

Isn't that where you keep your claymore?

Ah, had two conferences. One in San Diego that I mainly went to for social purposes (old friends one evening, old advisor the next), and then we had our own conference here in Pasadena Thu/Fri. Managed to give away most of my talk time to one of my students, so I only had to give a ten minute overview talk. Was very pleased with this, since I could steal the slide from another talk and just wing it on the spot.

Tomorrow sounds good. Nothing quite like coming back to the work that has piled up, eh?

Fun is good. Always come back from cons feeling like I need a vacation... and have bitten the head off of coworkers more than once who've asked, "How was your vacation?" when I get back from a con.

ICFA next year for me. Promise...

Hey, welcome home. I hope ICFA was great. I'd love to hear all about it sometime.

I just got back from Lunacon, which was pretty crazy.

Oh yeah, and I'm on Livejournal now, in case you hadn't noticed.

Hey! An excellent decision. I, in turn, will look forward to hearing about Lunacon ....

I will *so* be holding you to that ... will I be seeing you at WisCon this year?

Any chance that you're looking for a roommate?
