One thing that irks me about LJ: it doesn't notify me when I am friended!  So, I can drift merrily in a daze of familiarity until I get bored and check my Joule to see who's abandoned ship, and who's signed up.  New friends, do comment and let me know?  And, please, don't be offended if I take a while to answer: LJ seems to be in one of its periodic withholding-comments phases.

See, weird thing. My Copperwise journal doesn't notify me when someone friends me, but my Chimera Fancies journal does. I have looked through the FAQ's to see if I can figure out why, but to no avail.

Maybe it's a glitch in the code, automatic to new journals, but inaccessible to older ones? Whatever it is, headache city ....
