I am still awake. I have spent three frustrating hours tossing and turning and sniffling, apparently frequently enought to irritate the cat, who has gone to sleep atop the bookcase.

Went to Health Services. Have been told that I have a "severe viral respiratory infection," and ordered to stay in bed all week. Have also been perscribed aspirin with coedine. From what I remember, that stuff works not at all ...

And, P.S. - I am probably SO fired.
