Oh, hey, a general P.S.  to the world?  Now that grading is finished, I can finally have a social life (for, like, a week, until I get back down to being a hard-core dissertator).  So if I've been missing you by a hair for months and months, and yet you for some inexplicable reason still want to engage in a night of drinking free wine at the Cottage before playing pool with me?  Good time to call, is all I'm saying.

You know, honey, I was *planning* to cut down on carbs. Thanks for making sure that I'll never look at another french fry the same way again!
